The Buena Vista Demons (Buena Vista, CO) baseball trounced the visiting Platte Canyon Huskies (Bailey, CO), 11-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Demons now own a 8-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ellicott for a 3A/2A Tri-Peaks challenge on Saturday, May 10. Buena Vista will clash with a Thunderhawks team coming off a 27-2 league loss to Colorado Springs Christian (Colorado Springs, CO). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 4-14.
With the defeat, Platte Canyon drops to 4-13 on the year. The Huskies host Bishop Machebeuf (Denver, CO) to clash with the Buffaloes in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 10. The Buffaloes go into the challenge with a record of 9-8. Bishop Machebeuf won 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Lyons (Lyons, CO)
