The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the East Longmeadow Spartans (East Longmeadow, MA) and the visiting Chicopee Comp Colts (Chicopee, MA), saw East Longmeadow's baseball team beat Chicopee Comp by a margin of 7-2.

The Spartans (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Longmeadow (Longmeadow, MA). The Lancers enter the Valley battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Longmeadow held off Northampton (Northampton, MA), 10-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Colts face the Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes (Amherst, MA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 8. Chicopee Comp will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Hurricanes enter the battle with a 1-12 record after their 14-3 league loss to Southwick Regional (Southwick, MA).
