In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Don Bosco Prep Ironmen baseball team scored a close 2-1 win over the Fort Lee Bridgemen.
The Ironmen (16-4) will now prepare for their game against Bergenfield (Bergenfield, NJ). The Bears go into the non-league game with a 10-11 record. In their last game, Bergenfield was tipped by Dumont (Dumont, NJ), 9-5, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bridgemen play the Waldwick Warriors (Waldwick, NJ) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 10. Fort Lee will attempt to improve on its 13-7 season record. The Warriors go into the game with a 8-11 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Paramus (Paramus, NJ).
