The Emerson Cavaliers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Ridgefield Park Scarlets to 0 in the Cavaliers non-league win on Wednesday.
The Cavaliers now hold a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cresskill for a NJIC - Patriot test on Friday, May 9. Emerson will play a Cougars team coming off a 13-7 non-league loss to Hasbrouck Heights (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 10-7.
With the defeat, Ridgefield Park drops to 9-10 on the year. The Scarlets travel to Garfield (Garfield, NJ) to play the Boilermakers in a non-league test on Friday, May 9. The Boilermakers go into the test with a record of 3-14.
