The Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA) baseball the visiting Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA), 9-6 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Williamsburg for a Inter-County - North challenge on Thursday, May 8. Juniata Valley will clash with a Blue Pirates team coming off a 14-1 league loss to Curwensville (Curwensville, PA). The Blue Pirates record now stands at 10-7.

With the defeat, Southern Huntingdon County drops to 2-13 on the year. The Rockets travel to Mount Union (Mount Union, PA) to clash with the Trojans in a Inter-County - East challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 15-4. Mount Union won 4-0 in their recent league challenge against Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA)
