The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT) and the host Kennedy Eagles (Waterbury, CT), saw Naugatuck's baseball team gain a win over Kennedy by a tally of 13-0.

The Greyhounds (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT). The Crusaders enter the Naugatuck Valley - Copper battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Holy Cross was overwhelmed by Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT), 7-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Eagles face the Derby Red Raiders (Derby, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley - Copper battle, on Thursday, May 8. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Red Raiders enter the battle with a 4-9 record after their 17-0 league loss to Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT).
