The La Salle Institute Cadets baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Shaker Bison to 1 in the Cadets non-league win on Wednesday.

The Cadets now hold a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saratoga Springs for a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. La Salle Institute will play a Blue Streaks team coming off a 7-1 league win over Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 9-6.

With the defeat, Shaker drops to 9-3 on the year. The Bison travel to Christian Brothers Academy (Albany, NY) to play the Brothers in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue test on Friday, May 9. The Brothers go into the test with a record of 6-4. Christian Brothers Academy won 8-7 in their recent league test against Niskayuna (Niskayuna, NY)
