The Lynnfield Pioneers baseball squad scored 9 runs and limited the host Manchester Essex Hornets to 3 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Lynnfield advances its record to 10-3 on the season. The Pioneers host Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School (Hathorne, MA) to battle the Hawks in a non-league match on Thursday, May 8. The Hawks come into the match with a record of 6-7.
The Hornets now have a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ipswich for a CAL Baker match on Thursday, May 8.
