In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Orono Spartans baseball team scored a close 4-1 win over the St. Francis Fighting Saints.
The Spartans (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Chaska (Chaska, MN). The Hawks go into the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Chaska nudged Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN), 6-1, in a non-league game.
