In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting St. Louis HomeSchool Patriots Patriots baseball team scored a close 14-12 win over the Union Wildcats.
The Patriots (21-13) will now prepare for their game against Parkway South (Manchester, MO). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 16-6 record. In their last game, Parkway South nudged Lindbergh (St. Louis, MO), 4-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Wildcats play the St. Francis Borgia Knights (Washington, MO) in a Class 5 District 5 game, on Friday, May 9. Union will attempt to improve on its 20-6 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 13-12 record after their 14-0 non-league win over Hermann (Hermann, MO).
