Illinois High School Volleyball - Lake Zurich tips Mundelein

May 7, 2025: Lake Zurich, IL 60047

Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) and the visiting Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL), observed Lake Zurich's volleyball team hold off Mundelein by a count of 2-1.

The Bears (22-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 17-10 record. In their last contest, Hersey got by Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Mustangs battle the Belvidere North Blue Thunder (Belvidere, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 9. Mundelein will attempt to move on its 20-3 season record. The Blue Thunder enter the contest with a 1-14 record after their 2-0 league win over Freeport (Freeport, IL).
