With the triumph, Greenville advances its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Comets host Maryville Christian (Maryville, IL) to clash with the Lions in a non-league test on Friday, May 9. The Lions come into the test with a record of 6-10. Maryville Christian lost 7-0 in their recent league test against Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL)

The Wildcats now have a 8-14 record.
