The Summit Christian Academy Eagles soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Van Horn Falcons to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Eagles now hold a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Saint Thomas Aquinas for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 8. Summit Christian Academy will play a Saints squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Bishop Miege (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Saints record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Van Horn moves to 14-5 on the year. The Falcons host Pembroke Hill (Kansas City, MO) to play the Raiders in a Class 3 District 8 bout on Friday, May 9. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Pembroke Hill won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Kearney (Kearney, MO)
