The Palma Chieftains baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host King City Mustangs to 3 in the Chieftains non-league win on Wednesday.

The Chieftains now own a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monterey for a test on Thursday, May 8. Palma will clash with a Dores team coming off a 8-7 league loss to Carmel (Carmel, CA). The Dores record now stands at 4-15.

With the defeat, King City drops to 13-6 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Soledad (Soledad, CA) to clash with the Aztecs in a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. The Aztecs go into the test with a record of 4-14. Soledad lost 18-3 in their recent league test against Carmel (Carmel, CA)
