In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) baseball squad the visiting Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN), by a tally of 5-2.

Next up, the Red Devils encounter the Portage Indians (Portage, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 9. Lowell will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 7-6 record after their 10-0 league loss to Lake Central (St. John, IN).

The Bearcats (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Griffith (Griffith, IN). The Panthers enter the bout with a 1-5 record.
