Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies (South Bend, IN) and the host Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN), witnessed South Bend Saint Joseph's lacrosse squad achieve victory over Homestead by a count of 7-1.
The Huskies (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Penn (Mishawaka, IN). The Kingsmen enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Penn was overwhelmed by South Bend Saint Joseph (South Bend, IN), 10-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Spartans meet the Northridge Raiders (Middlebury, IN) in a contest, on Monday, May 12. Homestead will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 6-2 record after their 8-2 non-league win over Carroll (Fort Wayne, IN).
