The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Knights (Fort Wayne, IN) and the visiting Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Cadets (Fort Wayne, IN), observed Fort Wayne Bishop Luers's softball team prevail over Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran by a tally of 17-5.
The Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Homestead (Fort Wayne, IN). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 13-1 record. In their last bout, Homestead knocked off Woodlan (Woodburn, IN), 12-3, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cadets battle the Prairie Heights Panthers (LaGrange, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 8. Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 28-0 non-league win over New Haven (New Haven, IN).
