In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Cranford Cougars lacrosse squad scored a tight 6-3 triumph over the Manalapan Braves.
The Cougars (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ). The Minutemen go into the non-league contest with a 9-6 record.
Next, the Braves battle the Middletown North Lions (Middletown, NJ) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 10. Manalapan will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Lions enter the test with a 8-5 record after their 16-2 non-league loss to Wall Township (Wall, NJ).
