In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Dexter Dreadnaughts lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-11 triumph over the Saline Hornets.
The Dreadnaughts (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI). The Fighting Irish come into the non-league battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, Gabriel Richard edged Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI), 21-1, in a league battle.
The Hornets now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gabriel Richard for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 13.
