The Fairmont Firebirds lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the visiting Northmont Thunderbolts to 5 in the Firebirds league triumph on Wednesday.

The Firebirds now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walnut Hills for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 9.

With the loss, Northmont falls to 5-10 on the year. The Thunderbolts host Archbishop Alter (Kettering, OH) to clash with the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Knights go into the challenge with a record of 9-1. Archbishop Alter won 18-1 in their recent league challenge against Chaminade Julienne Catholic (Dayton, OH)
