Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) backers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the visiting Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL), 13-5 in a league game.

With the victory, Lincoln-Way West improves its record to 10-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL) to play the Celtics in a non-league game on Friday, May 16. The Celtics come into the game with a record of 4-5.

The Porters now have a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a South Suburban game on Saturday, May 10. Lockport will play a Panthers team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Chicago Mt. Carmel (Chicago, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 6-6.
