West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA), 5-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, West Potomac moves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Woodson (Fairfax, VA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a Patriot test on Friday, May 9. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 5-4. Woodson lost 4-2 in their recent league test against Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA)

The Spartans now sport a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Robinson for a Patriot test on Friday, May 9. West Springfield will clash with a Rams team coming off a 1-1 league Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Rams record now stands at 6-3.
