In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting St. Clair Saints softball team scored a tight 6-3 victory over the Anchor Bay Tars.
The Saints (14-2) will now prepare for their match against Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Huskies go into the Macomb Area - White match with a 3-6 record. In their last match, Lakeview was routed by Utica (Utica, MI), 4-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Tars battle the Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) in a Macomb Area - Red match, on Thursday, May 8. Anchor Bay will attempt to better on its 13-7 season record. The Cougars go into the match with a 15-2 record after their 5-2 league win over Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI).
