The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) and the visiting Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL), observed Lemont's softball team get by Argo by a tally of 2-0.

The Lemont HS (16-7) will now prepare for their bout against Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL). The Cardinals go into the South Suburban bout with a 9-16 record. In their last bout, Blue Island Eisenhower tipped Kennedy (Chicago, IL), 13-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Argonauts clash with the Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 8. Argo will attempt to advance on its 17-6 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 9-14 record after their 27-9 league win over Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL).
