Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), 18-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Westmont upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Sentinels travel to Trinity (River Forest, IL) to play the Blazers in a non-league game on Thursday, May 8. The Blazers enter the game with a record of 1-15. Trinity lost 15-0 in their recent league game against DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL)

The Tomcats now own a 1-16 record. They play next when they travel to Ridgewood for a Upstate Eight game on Thursday, May 8. Aurora East will play a Rebels squad coming off a 9-5 league win over Fenton (Bensenville, IL). The Rebels record now stands at 6-8.
