The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) and the visiting Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL), observed Barrington's softball team prevail over Prospect by a tally of 20-0.

The Fillies/Broncos (22-2) will now prepare for their bout against Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL). The Saxons go into the Mid-Suburban West bout with a 6-11 record. In their last bout, Schaumburg was routed by Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL), 8-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL) in a Mid-Suburban East bout, on Thursday, May 8. Prospect will attempt to advance on its 18-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 8-16 record after their 10-0 league loss to Fremd (Palatine, IL).
