The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Mounds Park Academy Panthers (St. Paul, MN) and the host Como Park Cougars (St. Paul, MN), observed Mounds Park Academy's softball team notch a victory over Como Park by a final score of 13-2.

The Panthers (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN). The Crusaders go into the non-league bout with a 3-5 record. In their last bout, St. Croix Lutheran was routed by Concordia Academy (Roseville, MN), 12-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Roosevelt Teddies (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 12. Como Park will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Teddies go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Concordia Academy (Roseville, MN).
