The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) and the host Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT), observed New Canaan's softball team get by Darien by a tally of 2-0.
The Rams (10-1) will now prepare for their bout against Westhill (Stamford, CT). The Vikings go into the Fairfield County bout with a 0-9 record. In their last bout, Westhill by St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT), 13-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Blue Wave clash with the Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Thursday, May 8. Darien will attempt to advance on its 10-2 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 14-0 league loss to Danbury (Danbury, CT).
