With the triumph, Madison upgrades its record to 8-6 on the year. The Cubs host Eastern (Pekin, IN) to play the Musketeers in a non-league game on Thursday, May 8. The Musketeers enter the game with a record of 5-6. Eastern won 5-0 in their recent non-league game against Clarksville (Clarksville, IN)

The Lions now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Charlestown for a Mid-Southern game on Monday, May 12. Salem will play a Pirates squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Brownstown Central (Brownstown, IN). The Pirates record now stands at 11-5.
