The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Mt. Pleasant Vikings (Mt. Pleasant, PA) and the visiting Uniontown Red Raiders (Uniontown, PA), observed Mt. Pleasant's softball team get by Uniontown by a final score of 9-5.

The Vikings (12-5) will now prepare for their bout against Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 9-3 record.

In their next game, the Red Raiders battle the Charleroi Cougars (Charleroi, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 7. Uniontown will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to South Park (South Park, PA).
