The Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) softball the visiting New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT), 3-1 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Nighthawks now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Masuk for a Southwest - Colonial outing on Thursday, May 8. Newtown will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 12-1 league win over Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, New Milford moves to 9-4 on the season. The Green wave travel to New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT) to encounter the Rebels in a Southwest - Colonial outing on Friday, May 9.
