In Wednesday's non-league test, the Tomahawk Hatchets (Tomahawk, WI) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rib Lake Redmen (Rib Lake, WI), by a tally of 11-2.
Next, the Hatchets meet the Lakeland Thunderbirds (Minocqua, WI) in a Great Northern test, on Thursday, May 8. Tomahawk will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the test with a 11-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Medford (Medford, WI).
The Redmen (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Phillips (Phillips, WI). The Loggers go into the Marawood - North test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Phillips was routed by Rib Lake (Rib Lake, WI), 8-3, in a league test.
