The Richards Bulldogs baseball team scored 22 runs and held the host Hillcrest Hawks to 3 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now own a 14-10 record. They take the field next when they host Whitney Young for a non-league test on Saturday, May 9. Richards will play a Dolphins team coming off a 6-4 league win over Von Steuben (Chicago, IL). The Dolphins record now stands at 14-12.

With the defeat, Hillcrest drops to 0-17 on the year. The Hawks travel to Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL) to play the Red Wolves in a South Suburban - Blue test on Monday, May 11. The Red Wolves go into the test with a record of 12-11. Thornton Fractional South won 9-0 in their recent league test against Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL)
