Illinois High School Baseball - Tri-Valley holds off MacArthur

The Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) baseball the visiting MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL), 10-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 18-10 record. They take the field next when they host Lexington for a Heart of Illinois challenge on Friday, May 8. Tri-Valley will clash with a Minutemen team coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Cornerstone Christian (Bloomington, IL). The Minutemen record now stands at 16-7.

With the defeat, MacArthur drops to 8-14 on the year. The Generals travel to Springfield (Springfield, IL) to clash with the Springfield in a Central State Eight challenge on Saturday, May 9. The Springfield go into the challenge with a record of 11-12. Springfield won 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington (Washington, IL)
