The Manton Rangers baseball squad (Manton, MI), 12-9 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Manistee Chippewas (Manistee, MI)

With the triumph, Manistee moves its record to 8-10 on the season. The Chippewas host Ludington (Ludington, MI) to confront the Orioles in a non-league contest on Friday, May 8. The Orioles come into the contest with a record of 10-7. Ludington won 7-4 in their recent non-league contest against Fremont (Fremont, MI)

The Rangers now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beal City for a Highland contest on Tuesday, May 12.
