Ocean City Red Raiders (Ocean City, NJ) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the visiting Moorestown Quakers (Moorestown, NJ), 7-6 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Ocean City improves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ) to play the Spartans in a Cape Atlantic game on Saturday, May 9. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 3-7. Holy Spirit lost 15-3 in their recent league game against Mainland Regional (Linwood, NJ)

The Quakers now have a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rumson-Fair Haven for a non-league game on Saturday, May 9. Moorestown will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-6.
