Illinois High School Softball - Lyons Naperville Central

May 7, 2026: LaGrange, IL 60525

In Thursday's non-league test, the Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) softball squad the host Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL), by a tally of 7-4.

Next, the Redhawks clash with the St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 8. Naperville Central will attempt to advance on its 18-8 season record. The Fighting Saints enter the challenge with a 23-7 record after their 4-3 league win over Lake Park (Roselle, IL).

The Lions (12-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Hinsdale South (Darien, IL). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 9-9 record. In their last challenge, Hinsdale South edged Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL), 9-7, in a league challenge.
