Maine High School Baseball - Ashland loses to Washburn

The Washburn Beavers baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Ashland Hornets to 11 in the Beavers league victory on Monday.
The Beavers (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME). The Hawks go into the Class D North match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Hodgdon was overwhelmed by Madawaska (Madawaska, ME), 14-1, in a league match.
The Hornets (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Madawaska (Madawaska, ME). The Owls go into the Class D North match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Madawaska edged Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME), 9-8, in a league match.
