The Lincoln Railsplitters baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Rantoul Eagles to 5 in the Railsplitters non-league victory on Monday.
The Railsplitters (16-10) will now prepare for their match against Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL). The Cardinals go into the non-league match with a 18-12 record. In their last match, Pleasant Plains was overwhelmed by Normal University (Normal, IL), 10-9, in a non-league match.
The Eagles (6-17) will now prepare for their match against Fisher (Fisher, IL). The Bunnies go into the Heart of Illinois match with a 4-17 record. In their last match, Fisher was overwhelmed by Lexington (Lexington, IL), 14-1, in a league match.
