In Monday's league test, the host North Haven Nighthawks lacrosse squad scored a tight 17-11 victory over the Mercy Tigers.
The Nighthawks now have a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sacred Heart Academy for a Southern Connecticut test on Wednesday, May 10. North Haven will face a squad coming off a 15-3 league win over Sheehan (Wallingford, CT). The record now stands at 6-5.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Sheehan Titans (Wallingford, CT) in a Southern Connecticut test, on Thursday, May 11. Mercy will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Titans come into the test with a 5-8 record after their 18-4 non-league loss to St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT).
