Illinois High School Soccer - Benet Academy knocks off Proviso West

Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team overwhelm the visiting Proviso West Panthers (Hillside, IL), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Redwings confront the Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 11. Benet Academy will attempt to better on its 14-4 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 4-0 league win over Sycamore (Sycamore, IL).
The Panthers now have a 2-18 record. They take the field next when they host Hinsdale Central for a West Suburban - Silver challenge on Tuesday, May 9. Proviso West will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 11-6.
