In Monday's non-league game, the host Carmel Greyhounds baseball team scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Fishers Tigers.
The Greyhounds (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Homestead (Fort Wayne, IN). The Spartans go into the non-league game with a 10-4 record.
The Tigers (10-6) will now prepare for their game against New Palestine (New Palestine, IN). The Dragons go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, New Palestine tipped Delta (Muncie, IN), 17-5, in a league game.
