Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), 14-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Highlanders now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they host Patrick Henry for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 10. Helix will face a Patriots squad coming off a 9-8 league win over Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 11-8.

With the loss, Grossmont falls to 0-7 on the campaign.
