The Lunenburg Blue Knights routed the host Ayer Shirley Panthers softball squad by a final score of 21-13 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Blue Knights (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against North Middlesex Regional (Townsend, MA). The Patriots go into the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, North Middlesex Regional was routed by Littleton (Littleton, MA), 15-5, in a non-league battle.
The Panthers now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Murdock for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 10. Ayer Shirley will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Fitchburg (Fitchburg, MA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-10.
