Ballston Spa Scotties (Ballston Spa, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Niskayuna Silver Warriors (Niskayuna, NY), 10-2 in a league challenge.

The Scotties now sport a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saratoga Springs for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge on Wednesday, May 10. Ballston Spa will face a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, Niskayuna falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Silver warriors host Averill Park (Averill Park, NY) to face the Warriors in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge on Wednesday, May 10. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 13-5. Averill Park won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Colonie Central (Albany, NY)
