The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Susquenita Blackhawks (Duncannon, PA) and the host Boiling Springs Bubblers (Boiling Springs, PA), saw Susquenita's softball squad nip Boiling Springs by a count of 8-7.
The Blackhawks now sport a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they host Newport for a Tri-Valley match on Tuesday, May 9. Susquenita will face a Buffaloes squad coming off a 5-1 league win over East Juniata (McAlisterville, PA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 9-5.
With the loss, Boiling Springs falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Bubblers travel to James Buchanan (Mercersburg, PA) to face the Rockets in a Mid-Penn - Colonial match on Tuesday, May 9. The Rockets enter the match with a record of 1-5.
