Central Aroostook Panthers (Mars Hill, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Fort Kent Warriors (Fort Kent, ME), 21-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hodgdon for a Class D North challenge on Tuesday, May 9. Central Aroostook will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 36-2 league win over Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Fort Kent falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Warriors host Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-4.
