The City Honors Centaurs softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Nichols Vikings to 2 in the Centaurs non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, City Honors improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Centaurs travel to Cleveland Hill (Cheektowaga, NY) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 10. The Golden Eagles come into the game with a record of 2-6.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Mount Mercy Academy Magic (Buffalo, NY) in a Monsignor Martin game, on Wednesday, May 10. Nichols will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Magic come into the game with a 0-6 record after their 15-5 league loss to St. Mary's (Lancaster, NY).
