Medicine Lodge Indians (Medicine Lodge, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Conway Springs Cardinals (Conway Springs, KS), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Belle Plaine for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 9. Medicine Lodge will face a Dragons squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Trinity Academy (Wichita, KS). The Dragons record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, Conway Springs falls to 3-10 on the campaign.
