Windham Eagles (Windham, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Deering Rams (Portland, ME), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Berwick Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 9. Windham will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Scarborough (Scarborough, ME). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Deering falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Rams host Thornton Academy (Saco, ME) to face the Trojans in a Class A South challenge on Wednesday, May 10. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 2-7. Thornton Academy won 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Cheverus (Portland, ME)
